Welcome! I’m Wera Seemann, and I’d love for you to get to know me better.
In November 2024, I successfully completed the Full-Stack Web Development course at CareerFoundry, marking a significant milestone in my journey as a developer. I also hold a Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics and Marketing. I’m fluent in German, English, and Russian, with basic skills in Spanish—languages that reflect my passion for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.

As an explorer by nature, I have a curious and ever-learning mindset, always ready to dive into new challenges. Surrounded by inspiring, multicultural people, I’ve cultivated a unique blend of creative thinking and a logistics-oriented mindset. Now equipped with robust programming skills, I’m actively designing a life that aligns with my aspirations—where innovation, problem-solving, and creativity converge.


PROFESSIONAL GOAL

My goal is to secure a full-time role as a Full-Stack Web Developer in a hybrid or remote environment within the tech industry. I’m passionate about building efficient, scalable web applications tailored for the e-commerce and SaaS sectors. My focus lies in crafting seamless user experiences and developing robust back-end systems. I aim to contribute meaningfully to innovative projects while continuously honing my skills and staying at the forefront of technology. Let’s build something extraordinary together!

REFLECTION TO MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

NOW: volunteering as a Frontend Developer

I continuously expand my knowledge and have a strong interest in both frontend and backend solutions, as well as new technologies. Currently, I am actively contributing to a volunteer project focused on Angular, where I design, develop, and optimize features based on user requirements. My responsibilities include implementing new features, improving existing functionalities, and ensuring a seamless user experience. I work on assigned tasks through GitLab tickets.

Full-Stack Developer

I bring a proactive and enthusiastic approach to my work, characterized by independence, initiative, and a strong problem-solving mindset. My excellent communication skills, adaptability to learning new technologies, teamwork abilities, and reliability are highly transferable to Full-Stack Web Development. These qualities, combined with my technical expertise in JavaScript, React, and MongoDB, position me to excel in creating efficient and scalable web solutions in my new field.

Real Estate Agent

As a freelance Real Estate Agent, I embraced the challenge of mastering a completely new field, leveraging techniques such as brainstorming and in-depth online research. During my part-time work as a self-employed real estate agent, I successfully managed a complete property transaction – from the initial property assessment and viewings to the notarial certification. Providing personal and transparent advice, as well as building a relationship of trust with my clients, has always been a top priority for me. My strength lies in understanding individual client needs and delivering well-founded market analyses to support their decision-making. I was also creating my own professional image and the landing page.

Tourism Manager

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the tourism industry, where I served as a Tourism Manager for triathlon athletes and a Project Manager. During this time, I gained proficiency in a professional booking system and contributed to the successful implementation of a new communication and planning system for the company. This role developed my teamwork abilities, enhanced my resilience, and solidified my reputation for reliability.

Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist, I managed diverse tasks and projects with independence and initiative, taking ownership of my areas of responsibility. I excelled in mastering new production applications and creating comprehensive documentation to support my colleagues. Demonstrating proactive problem-solving, I spearheaded the development of a new product planning system in Excel, which streamlined an essential daily process, reducing its duration from two hours to just 30 minutes—resulting in significant time savings and increased efficiency.

Volunteer Experience: Camping Rental

As a volunteer with an international non-profit organization starting from 2013 to 2024, I developed my skills as a project manager and team leader. My responsibilities included event planning (for ca.250 people), team coordination (managing teams of 2-5 people), overseeing logistics, financial responsibilities.
Key accomplishments include:
- Preregistration and accommodation planning (tents, mats, sleeping bags).
- Managing setup, dismantling, storage, and transportation logistics.
- Successfully leading projects requiring attention to detail, problem-solving, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
This experience has equipped me with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, directly transferable to professional roles requiring coordination, planning, and resource management.
